Combine all ingredients in a saucepan and cook over medium-high heat until the mixture just barely comes to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer for 10 - 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce is slightly thickened.
Use right away or store in a covered container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
